Spey Fishing outside the box....Who made the box anyhow?

From the very beginning of my fly fishing I learned how to get the perfect drift. There are days when the steelhead wont move to a swung fly, or when you have to get the fly down to their level before you induce the swing. I have found this technique to come in handy for such days. Don't let the hardcore swingers out there give you to much heart burn if you decide to try this technique...after all its fishing.... enjoy the River.
